Pedestal should not be used freestanding. It is designed to be used under the desk, credenza and return shells. Configuration includes two file drawers. Each drawer locks. Drawers operate on full-extension, ball-bearing suspensions to ensure smooth, quiet, long-lasting operation. Hangrails are included in the file drawers for side-to-side letter-size or legal-size filing, and for front-to-back letter-size filing. Surfaces feature attractive, scratch-resistant, stain-resistant, Shaker Cherry, thermal-fused laminate for an unbeatable combination of stunning beauty and rugged durability. Adjustable floor-leveling glides provide 3/4" of adjustment. Design also includes a metal handle in silver finish for each drawer.
